GAME
TIMES
We have twenty (20) fields available to us, and we
are on a very tight schedule. All games must start
and end according to the game schedule, as there are
only 10 minutes between games. Teams may not schedule
on-field warm ups. All preliminary games will be terminated
no less than five (5) minutes prior to the scheduled
start of the next game, regardless of the amount of
time played in each half up to that point. A game
is "complete" upon completion of one half
of play, with final results based on the score at
termination.
A
preliminary game can end in a tie. Each team shall
have two (2) games on Friday and two (2) games on
Saturday. Should there be inclement weather the tournament
committee will adjust the schedule in the fairest
way possible.
TEAM
CONDUCT
The matter of player, team official, and spectator
conduct is of great concern to us. No abuse of the
Match Officials will be tolerated at any time, for
any reason, by any person. Communication with the
referee shall be done only through your team captain.
Coaches, team officials and substitute players MUST
remain with ten (10) yards of each side of midfield.
You, as team officials are responsible for player
and spectator conduct.
No
protest or appeals will be heard. The Tournament Committees
decision on all disciplinary matters will be final.
Severe misconduct may result in a player, official,
spectator, or team being banned from any further participation
in the tournament.
WEATHER
The daytime temperature in Las Vegas at Thanksgiving
usually runs between 45-65 degrees. Wind can effect
this temperature tremendously, so come prepared. We
recommend that players have a long-sleeve T-shirt
or thermal available to them to wear under their jersey.
Our weather at the present is beautiful, but the desert
is susceptible to sharp unpredictable changes..night
time temperature can drop to the mid-30s. Please be
prepared in the event you have a late afternoon or
evening game.
