Where are you and what are you doing now?
I am currently in Evansville, IN finishing up my soccer career and pursuing a degree in Business Management.

How long and when did you play for Neusport?
I played for Neusport for about four years during high school.

What did you like most about being part of Neusport?

What made my time with Neusport most memorable was my team. The group of girls I shared so many experiences became a second family for me. I have traveled to places all around the country and made lifelong friendships.

What did being part of Neusport teach you – on and off the field?
Being part of Neusport, and playing competitive soccer, taught me self-discipline and prepared me for life as a college student-athlete. I gained the necessary soccer knowledge and skills through my experiences traveling and playing with Neusport. My coaches, teammates, and family made me a better athlete and person both on and off the field because I know that all the hard work and time spent pays off.

How did playing for Neusport prepare you for college soccer or further soccer experience?
I felt well prepared entering college athletics because Neusport exposed us to some of the best teams in the nation. By competing against the best club teams from around the country, I was both mentally and physically prepared to raise my game to a new level and compete with older, more skilled athletes. Also, traveling with my club soccer team prepared me for the many road trips taken during my college career.

What’s your favorite Neusport memory?
I have so many great memories with the girls on my club team. One of the most memorable trips was our trip to Hawaii. We had planned on going for Regionals and our families had booked our flights and hotel; however, we ended up losing that year in State Cup. Ironically, the soccer trip turned into a vacation and spent our time to site-seeing and enjoying Waikiki with our families. Also, road trips with our coaches Tom and Ed, KB singing Mariah Carey, bathing in one of the hotel swimming pools with Keisha and a few others, etc.
